What I do
I create meaningful experiences through a research-driven process that focuses on the user. I create visuals that stick and products that flow with ease. I look beyond initial impressions and focus on the root of a problem so that I may create effective design solutions.
Why I do it
I’ve seen first-hand the difference great design can make. I have purposefully worked to craft a broad knowledge base so that I can meet diverse needs as a designer. I take a comprehensive approach to design to create seamless user experiences and interface. I am always thinking about the people I aim to reach and focus on bringing them a design solution that truly suits their needs.
Origin Story
Throughout my life, I have had a passion to create. As a child, I had a disposable camera everywhere I went and every spare moment I spent at home, I was creating videos and video editing. One of the other things that light me up is bringing a smile to a person’s face. Bringing joy to people and creating things that make a difference, that is my mission in life. Whether that joy comes from someone loving their new brand, reminiscing over a photo they love or having an app that makes their day a little easier, I love to solve problems and make the days a little brighter.
When I was growing up, I had the privilege of getting to teach children with special needs. It was an experience that gave me valuable skills that I still use today. It was hard work, exhausting, and trying at times but it was the most rewarding experience I have ever had the privilege to be a part of. The smile on the parents' and children’s faces as they developed has given me an appreciation of even the smallest successes. That experience makes me want to continue to make people feel like a success even if the path to get there is not an easy one.
Design is a creative practice that individuals experience every day, whether they realize it or not. Every poster, every app, every website, someone made choices that determine how people will interact with it. Making work that brings joy to individuals is no small feat to me. It is something I am very proud to be a part of and I want to continue to create success stories for individuals around the world.
